I had my Dymo 4XL working fine but had to completely wipe my 2019 Macbook pro.
It has Catalina and the printer will not show up. My Epson printer is fine.

I do not have an XL, but I have a LabelWriter 450 Turbo. From time to time I have had various issues with it. They were always due to Dymo's software. Usually when they would issue an upgrade, it would resolve. Make sure that you have their current software that is compatible with Catalina. It is up to Dymo to support their product. Work with them to address the issue.
I finally got it working.
The route for me was to install it on windows 10 via bootcamp.
Once this was done it then worked on BigSur as I also updated to that.
Dymo need to pull their finger out with drivers and software for these printers.
I cannot get Dymo 4 XL to work on Catalina Please help
