iPhone 6 can't update past iOS 12

I have a Iphone 6 and i cant update past 12. whatever we are at.... I have Itunes on my computer and tried to update that way and it says I'm up to date which i know isn't true at all

You need at least an iPhone 6s to update beyond iOS 12.5.2.
