New Streaming Sites Consuming Lots of RAM (> 4GB)

I have 32GB of RAM, and 4GB is being swallowed up by these news sites. Why?

When I'm using news steaming sites, posts of RAM is being taken up on my Mac. I reset the SMC, and all was fine for the rest of the night. Turned it on this morning and this evening, and the issue occurs once again.

One such site is Fox Nation Live Stream. There are others as well. I've been using these site for years on my Macs, but this Mac is giving me the issue.

Is anyone else getting this issue?
