no privacy when talking on iPhone as have to g to speaker to hear
I cannot hear when on my phone privately. If I switch to speaker mode it works fine. I have tried many things to no avail.

We know how important it is to be able to hear while on a call. We’ll do our best to sot this out. To clarify, are you able to hear when using headphones or EarPods? If you have a case on your phone, please remove it and follow: If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch speaker
Next, check to see if sound from other apps also have this issue. If so, we’d like for you to compete these steps. This will allow us determine if the issue is software or hardware related:
• Update iOS on iPhone if there is an update available.
• Verify if the you're able to hear during a FaceTime call.
• Go to Settings > Sound & Haptics > Ringtone.
Tap on a ringtone to play it.
Listen to the sound from the receiver.
