No available windows

I purchased a brand new MacBook Pro! Used the internet one time and the next time I went to log on, it gave a small not in the middle of no available windows! I tried looking up this error and saw one effort of disabling the track pad but still unavailable to open Safari! Also what else is very discouraging is once I turned on my new laptop my old 12 year old Mac Book Pro is not working and just has a circle with a line through it like it won’t perform anything! I am very discouraged by this NOT being user friendly and simply not working! Help please

MacBook Pro (2020 and later)

Try Safe Mode:

Boot into Safe Mode: [Hold Down: shift key upon boot], log in, and see if you still get this error. If not, then restart the Mac, booting up as normal. If of no success, then take it back to Apple.

B. "No available windows: [...]I turned on my new laptop my old 12 year old Mac Book Pro is not working and just has a circle with a line through it like it won’t perform anything![...]"

Mount the Hard Drive in Disk Utility:

While booted into Recovery Mode [Hold Down: command + R keys upon boot], go to Disk Utility> tap the Hard Drive, then tap the Mount button. See if you can then install it. If it is already mounted, then unmount it and then remount it. See where you can go from there.
