Exclamation mark next to share photo

Question

Can any help why I have an exclamation mark next to the header "shared photos" on my MacBook, there is one on my iOS device

If you mean the tiny symbol on the folder icon shown here, I just assume it is used to indicate sharing (with people).

Hi - where are you seeing this? In the photos app?

I can't see anything labled "shared photos" in big sur. I do see shared albums. - what version of MacOS do you have.

A screenshot might help.

Yes via the app on the Mac and when all the folders are opened exposing the folder listing
