Stuck on connecting when selecting sound output to Homepod mini

Hey everyone

I have a Homepod mini, and after I switch the sound output on my mac to another device, I can't switch it back to the Homepod, I see only a spinning indicator near the Homepod name.

The issue can be solved by turning the wi-fi on a mac off and on. Homepod is connecting instantly after that.

I have to do it like 5-10 times per day, as after every sound output switch to headphones for a call it brokes.

Any ideas on how to fix that?

AirPods are connected, I click to Homepod and it can spin forever.

From our understanding, you're unable to switch back to HomePod after using another audio device on the Mac. Follow the steps here: If HomePod isn't responding
