Missing Sound icon on the swipe down menu - Lost notification sounds

Hi!

I'm trying NOT to have to reset my iPad 2 (MW742LL/A), so I wanted to see if you all know how to fix this?

My sound button (where you go the right side, swipe down, and it brings my icons). It is now missing from there, and I'm not getting any notification sounds now because the ipad was muted at night.

I have no clicking sounds when typing, no notification sounds, no sound when I put it in sleep mode etc. Videos play, games play etc.

Thank you in advance :)

Is there a way I can restore that icon in the swipe down menu? I assume that is all I need to do, to get notification sounds again.

Hello lookingformore,

From what you've shared we understand that you're missing part of your Control Center, and we'd like to share some next steps that can help. To get started, some parts of your Control Center such as volume control are not able to be added or removed. You can find this information here: Edit Control Center on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

This indicates that there may be a hardware or software issue. To start, we recommend attempting to adjust your volume as seen here: Adjust the volume on iPad

If the behavior persists, or if your volume is greyed out in areas, it is likely your device will need additional support. Review options in your region here: Get Support

Take care.
