Transfer XR to 12 Pro

my old phone has iOS 14.5 and my new iphone 12pro has iOS 14.4.2 so it wont import the back up. How do I import the backup to the iPhone 12Pro with 14.4.2

You can’t. You either downgrade from the beta on the old phone and create a new backup or you wait until 14.5 is released and you update the new phone and then restore the backup.
