Boot Camp "The computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error" never-ending loop

Hello. I saw a question like this before, but never knew if the problem was fixed.

I was doing the disk partition for windows 10 and after I selected 'windows 10 home' and it was installing and an error occurred. A message appeared saying ''the computer restarted unexpectedky or encountered an unexpected error. Windows installation cannot proceed. To install windows, click ''ok'' to restart computer and then restart the installation''. This lead to an infinite loop and I ended up coming back to Mac and restore the disk. Since I have a MacBook Pro I was unable to use de F10 buttons.

Is there any way I can still use the bootcamp to install windows? I'm afraid this will happen again.

Yes it is Windows 10 home, I downloaded the only ISO option on the website, the file name is Win10_20H2_v2_English_x64

I'am not aware what MD5sum is, but I followed a tutorial on the internet and I got this from the terminal app: ''MD5 (/Users/c*******/Downloads/Win10_20H2_v2_English_x64.iso) = 10d50d88fac6306a00ddb41e983a046b''

This looks fine.

What is the year/model of your Mac (do not post the serial number)?

What is the current macOS version?

What is the filename and MD5sum of the ISO? I assume this is W10.

I think the bootcamp assistance on windows is missing. Right after I got windows it was installing and it blocked so I had to restart the computer and I didn't have any request to install it again.

I am supposed to have this logo on windows (image attached) and I don't, so if I want to switch environments I always have to totally restart the PC.

did it three times already and an error appears (photo attached) but afterwards it acted like the installation was complete, when it wasn’t and even restarted. Anyways it restarted and the Pc still the same with no bootcamp.

Thank you I was able to install it now. Still not working like I wanted (Bootcamp did not install on windows so I have to restart everytime to switch between OSs). But that solved the problem!

You seem to have two different Language settings, English and Portuguese. Can use English only and try to install BC drivers?

I only have Portuguese for the keyboard because my keyboard layout is Portuguese. I’m gonna put all English and try again the installation.

Since this is a new installation, do you want to remove the current installation using BC Assistant, and install a new copy, with only English as the language during installation?
