Space bar "+" icon on left side

Hi,

my "+" icon (to create a new desktop, in the space bar) appears on the top left corner, for a reason I don't understand - instead of the regular top right corner. Which is kind of counter-intuitive.

I just bought a new MacBook Air (Big Sur 11.2.3), and it was already like that when I set it up - I'm also not connecting it to an external monitor at the moment.

Does anyone know how I can put the "+" sign on the top right corner, where it usually is?

Thanks!

Hi there EuropeanGemini,

We see that the ‘+’ icon is in the incorrect location when you navigate to the Spaces bar on your Mac. Let’s look into this together.

Does restarting your Mac resolve this issue, even temporarily?

Log out, sleep, wake, restart, or shut down your Mac

If not, let’s see if this also occurs in another user account and when you start up your Mac in safe mode.

Cheers!
