AirPods microphone distorts my audio on Zoom Calls

I previously exchanged my airpod 2s for the same issue I am currently experiencing- which is that my microphone distorts my audio on Zoom Calls and no one can understand me. I haven't dropped or damaged them at all and was wondering if I could pay a little extra to both exchange and upgrade to airpod pros.
