Magsafe2 to USB-C power plug adapter?

I have a bunch of Magsafe2 power cords throughout the house for my older MacBook Air laptop. I just got the 16" MacBook Pro and of course its power cord is different. Are there Apple brand (or just good) adapters people can recommend? I've bought 2 different 3rd party ones so far and the USB-C plugs don't fit into the laptop's ports as well as the Apple adapters do. Any suggestions for ones that work well?

If one didn't ship with your 16-inch MacBook Pro, order Apple USB-C

(or spare?) adapter from Apple online, or Apple USB-C from OWC.

• Apple 96W USB-C Power Adapter - MacSales.com ($59 USD)

https://eshop.macsales.com/item/Apple/MX0J2AMA/

Mfr P/N: MX0J2AM/A • OWC SKU: APLMX0J2AMA • Apple Genuine unit. USB-C

• Apple USB-C Charge Cable (2 m) - Apple

https://www.apple.com/shop/product/MLL82AM/A/usb-c-charge-cable-2-m

OWC, at discount, slightly under retail. Usually these do not include

the charge cable, from Adapter to Mac. Nor is there an 'extension

AC cable' (a three-prong grounded cable; normally is an option).

• 96W USB-C Power Adapter - Apple

https://www.apple.com/shop/product/MX0J2AM/A/96w-usb-c-power-adapter

• Apple USB-C Charge Cable (2 m) - Apple (appears twice)

https://www.apple.com/shop/product/MLL82AM/A/usb-c-charge-cable-2-m

• Power Adapter Extension Cable - Apple

https://www.apple.com/shop/product/MK122LL/A/power-adapter-extension-cable

[There are quality USB-C Adapters and Cables from Belkin

&/or sometimes an 'Apple' one included w/ retail MB/Pro kit.

A multiport Dock or powered Hub may be good solution too.]

No conversion AC adapter exists, to an connect older MagSafe

1 or 2, to power newer MacBook Pro equipped with USB-C ports.

The matched adapter and cable shown below should be in the

original kit with new MacBook Pro 16-inch; or maybe in retail.

Unless you happen to find the correct voltage and amperage output

with proper fitted plug/port shapes; that in itself is near impossible..

..anything 'cheap' would likely also be a compromise & void warranty.

A 'late edit' above, includes link to an Apple cable to match the 96W

Apple/MX0J2AMA/ USB-C, for use between adapter & MB/Pro 16-inch.

And should you not already considered time factor with AppleCare+

there's limited duration (60 days?) from macbook purchase, to get

the extended warranty. I'd bought AppleCare on all my new macs.

{..old Apple power adapters in good shape are collectable, are

keepers and worthy of re-homing to other vintage mac users..}

Thanks, I see the full power plugs, but is there nothing simpler/smaller/cheaper that would let me use the older power cords I already have? Seems like a shame to discard them. There are third-party adapters that go from MagSafe2 to USB-C, but they don't seem to fit quite right. I wonder if anyone has a brand they like (Apple doesn't make one?)
