Apps not showing when downloaded

A few days ago I changed some setting and since then when I download any app it doesn’t appear directly on the home screen, I have to add it from the app library. I can’t remember what that setting was though.. any ideas?

Open Settings, tap Home Screen and then select Add to Home Screen.

Apps not visible can anyone tell me why my apps are sometimes not visible and I can’t access them. I feel there must be some setting that is hiding them. I have scrolled through the home screen as one respondent suggested but they are not there. Yet they are listed when I go into Settings although I can’t open them. Apps not showing New apps that I downloaded weren’t showing up on my home screens. I discovered under settings that the option was chosen that new apps only went to the library. I changed that, but how do I get all of those apps to show up on my Home Screen?
