Please follow these steps:

Go to Finder --> Go --> Applications, and drag the macOS Big Sur installer to the Trash.
Empty the Trash.
Restart the Mac.
Get macOS Big Sur, make sure you have a backup, then upgrade. How to upgrade to macOS Big Sur - Apple Support
