How to use iPhone as remote with 2nd gen Apple TV...

...when there's no way to enter the four digit passcode on the Apple TV?


all my remotes are broken. iPhone is only solution.


any solution?

You absolutely need a working remote to setup the Apple TV app for 3rd gen Apple TVs or earlier.


Your only option is to borrow one from a friend or relative just to navigate to the remote settings on the Apple TV and set up the App on the iPhone.
