Battery percentage gone?

Is there seriously no way to show your battery percentage without swiping? Wish I had known I was getting less features before I spent so much $$ to upgrade😞 What a dumb thing to take away....

There isn’t room in the status bar for the battery percentage on phones with the Face ID notch without removing something else, and Apple has decided that the other items on the status bar are more important than battery percentage.

However, you can add the battery widget to the home screen.

I find signal strength to be much more useful than a constant battery percentage. If you honestly need to know the exact percentage of battery (the battery icon really does give you a pretty good sense of the batteries current charge), simply swipe down from the top right hand corner of your iPhone screen and the battery percentage is easily found.

Otherwise, it's been this way for the last few years since iPhone X was released with Face ID. You'll get used to it. Things change. That's life, to be honest.

Yes, the Cell Radio signal and Wi-Fi are more important than battery percentage.

FYI: If you are running low on battery, iOS will notify you and you can set Low Power Mode to last longer with one charge.

Do:

  • Charge whenever you want (no need to wait and iPhone battery do not have memory effect)
  • Change as long as you want (it will auto switch Off when is full)
  • You can use iPhone while charging

Don't:

  • Let battery runs below 20% often see above
  • and never let battery dies for no reason.
