Is there a ways to change this?
I use the alarm often and always want the alarm page to come up when I open the clock app..
i never use the world clock function but it is always in my face.
keeping the clock in the background always is harder than switching from world time to alarm.

As a workaround, add the alarm icon to your Control Center:--> Edit Control Center on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

If you use the alarm frequently, add it to your Control Center.
Go to:
Settings -> Control Center.
Find Alarm and drag it up to those included in the Control Center.
Now you can swipe down from the top right corner and access your Alarm directly.
