Iphone 7

I accidentally pressed the switch button & I am not locked out. the phone will not connect to Itunes to try to reset & seems just to default onto wait 1 hour. Ive tried the help nadvice but nothing seems to free the phone up,also it dosent seem toconnect t my computer via a USB port. any help appreciated.

Connect iPhone to Computer / Mac


Settings > Touch/Face ID & Passcode > USB Accessories > [Enable]


You haven't mentioned whether you have a PC or Mac. However...


  1. Use your USB lightening cable --> Resolve USB-related alerts in iTunes - Apple Support
  2. If unable to connect --> If iTunes doesn't recognize your iPhone, iPad, or iPod - Apple Support
