First it was going in target mode and quiting it wasnt helping, it was going to the same screen to restart. So I tried using Command+ R (Recovery mode). Four options (Time machine, Reinstall Mac OS, Safari, and Disk utitlity. The problem here is, there is no back up on Time machine, safari wasnt helpful, I cant reinstall Mac OS because there ISNT ENOUGH SPACE. I would like to delete some files without deleting everything from the disk utility. Please Help, Urgent help needed.

Hi Shadowalker642,

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today. It sounds like you aren't able to boot into your MacBook Air.

Does it just keep restarting?

Have you tried safe mode yet?

"Start up an Intel-based Mac in safe mode

  1. On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > Shut Down.
  2. After your Mac shuts down, wait 10 seconds.
  3. Restart your Mac, then immediately press and hold the Shift key.
  4. Release the Shift key when you see the login window."

Let us know how it goes.
