Restore iPhone from backup?

The Reminders app on my iPhone lost its connection to iCloud when I “upgraded” it. Reminders on my MacBook is okay.

Hey there BBrandt,

We'd like to help get Reminders working correctly on your iPhone.

It's good to hear you have no issues while using Reminders in your Mac!

As we'll need to better understand what's happening, along with ruling out some basics, please confirm the following details for us:

  1. You mentioned that Reminders 'lost' the connection to iCloud on your iPhone. Did you mean that iCloud Reminders no longer syncs at all with your iPhone? The more details you provide, the better equipped we'll be to help.
  2. Are you currently connected to a Wi-Fi network? If yes, any issues with syncing other iCloud content, or even browsing the internet in Safari?
  3. Any issues with viewing your iPhone reminders on the iCloud website if you check using Safari within your Mac?
  4. If you have a compatible iPhone model, the latest version is 14.4.2. You can verify the version number installed within Settings > General > About. Here's a link that'll show how to first back up, then Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

We look forward to hearing back from you about these details. Take care!
