Hi,


How is your printer connected? The Canon MG6220 is mentioned in About AirPrint - Apple Support as a model supporting the driverless AirPrint technology. This means that it should work via a network connection without drivers.


Drivers/software from the printer manufacturer may or may not add functionality.

It may be a good idea to try resetting the printing system and re-adding the printer.

If you are using USB now, try a network connection instead (Wi-Fi or Ethernet). Add the MG6220 as an AirPrint printer. Check that you have the latest firmware.

If you want to download drivers or software for the Canon PIXMA MG6220 printer, you must click https://www.canonprinterdriver.org/2021/04/canon-pixma-mg6220-driver.html


Installation Steps for Mac OS

  1. Download the file in the table (at the bottom) which one do you need. Look for the location where the file is saved.
  2. Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
  3. Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
  4. Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically
