How should I deal with a threat via email from someone claiming to be a "hacker" on my icloud?

Just received an email from someone that claimed they hacked into my icloud.com account. what should I do? Please advise or share your experience dealing with this.

Those types of emails are almost always scams.


You can ignore it and delete it.


If you really want to make sure this is not real, change your password, and make sure 2 Factor authentication is turned on for your account.
