I noticed on my monthly Apple app subscriptions, starting this month, April 2021, there is a tax added?
Why are taxes being added? Example, my Discovery+ monthly is now $4.99 plus $.30 tax.
How are these taxes being calculated ? And what changed that these apps are now being taxed?

It sounds as though you're seeing tax associated to App Store and iTunes Store purchases. Tax can be applicable to these purchases based on your region. This not only can be the country in which you're located, but state and local taxes if applicable as well.
