Accessibility issues of digital keyboard on Mac Mini

I just got a Mac Mini and was setting it up. I don’t have a keyboard at the moment so I used the accessibility tool to type on a digital keyboard. I created my password and the system finished te configuration, and then asked me for my password. The thing is: the digital keyboard no longer shows up, and from what I’ve read I need to use a physical keyboard to log in.

That’s ok for me atm but got me thinking that would be a real issue for someone that needs the accessibility tool. Is Apple aware of this?
