Voicemail Password

I just set up my iPhone with straight talk. I cannot access my voicemail because I do not know the passcode. I cannot find any voicemail settings on my phone either. It says I have 8 messages and I have no way to listen to them.

Hi Amandalh95,

Voicemail is definitely important! We're glad you posted here in Apple Support Communities so we can help out. It looks like you're having some issues setting up your voicemail.

This resource provides the steps you need to Set up Visual Voicemail on your iPhone. The text below sounds like it will apply in your case as you mentioned you don't know the voicemail password:

"Transfer your existing Voicemail

To transfer your existing voicemail, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Phone app, then tap the Voicemail tab.
  2. Tap Set Up Now.
  3. Enter your password,* then tap done.
  4. Record a custom greeting or use the default greeting, then tap Save.

* If you forget your voicemail password, there's no way to reset it from your iPhone. You need to contact your carrier to reset your password. If you insert a new SIM card, you might lose the voicemails that you saved on your iPhone."

Based on the above, we recommend getting in touch with your wireless carrier for assistance with your voicemail password.

Take care.
