Problem repeatedly occurred" error in Safari 14.1

Having the same kind of problems. Global.adsbexhange.com won't open with Safari 14.1 and the same problem occurs with Firefox 88.0. The problems occurred after updating Safari. Strangely no problem with Safari on my iPad and iPhone.

from what I’ve seen, apple safari is an incredible browser.I’ve seen online tests of it killing chrome, Firefox, edge, and more. And it’s also a battery saver. It’s probably just your device acting up, but I hope Firefox works for you.

having the same issue, I am unable to sign in on some sites and most troublingly eBay, the site reloads on the home page but worst of all I can't log in and get "an error repeatedly occurred". tried everything, resetting smc etc, changing loads of settings, proxies, everything. disabling javascript or blocking all cookies might help but renders the browser unusable.

Shouldn't it be possible to just reinstall 10.15.7 (or 10.14.6) to revert Safari to its stable state?

Still having the problem with other website that require login (financial sites like my bank, brokerage). Problem persists after Reinstall Mac OS 10.15.7 today. Support was thoroughly unhelpful. I've switched to Chrome until Safari is repaired.

This is a big problem that needs to be fixed ASAP. If I disabled Javascript, the pages with load but not function. I don't want to use another browser because I don't know my passwords to most of my accounts--trying to pay bills is becoming a problem since this issue has been going on for days! APPLE PLEASE FIX THIS!

PS. I also don't want to reinstall MacOS. That's just ridiculous.

Excellent info. Apple should have fessed up with a 14.1.1 version update, but at least we can see they hid their mistake with BUILD change from xxx.5 to xxx.7.

And yes, Howard's blog has helped me numerous times in the past and it is mind boggling how much time he offers.

Oh, and his free little SilentKnight app is excellent for us wanting to keep track of internal version numbers and firmware changes.

Oh just can it will you. These ‘evil’ Apple conspiracy theories are tiresome and boring. These are user-to-user forums and Apple support is not here. Apple isn’t ‘hiding’ anything. macOs Catalina 10.15.7 has had two updates since its release and it is also still at 10.15.7. Apple’s nomenclature is their business.

Your conspiracy accusations will get you ignored in the future by volunteers that would normally respond.

Owner of the post needs to make one as a "solution" or add a comment and mark as the solution. The number of "recommendations" to reinstall the OS is pretty lame. This issue was clearly a bug and now it is fixed.

I have installed macos 11.3.1 on my MacBook Air (11-inch, Mid 2013). After this update, Safari became unusable. First I tried from Recovery to fix errors with S.O.S. without resolution. Then I reinstalled the operating system but the problem persists.

reinstalling anything is not a solution as I can’t force users to do it before entering our page.

I have the same problem too. My IPad which I’m using has been having “repeated problems” in safari. Also my apps having been refreshing almost every time I leave the app. (The IPad os an Air 2 if anyone was wondering) hopefully I find an answer to this problem,because it’s getting kinda annoying having an app refreshing every time you use it or having it refreshed every 10 seconds.
