iPhone space

Some apps show a huge amount of memory use. I noticed just by removing the app it doesn’t free up the amount of space it first claims it takes. I’m trying to remove apps that require a lot of space.

Removing an App is not the solution. You need to delete the App.

There are six possibilities

Delete an offloaded App
Delete an App from the Home Screen
Remove an App from the Home Screen - Will be placed in the App Library
Delete an App from the App Library
Delete an inbuilt App - Not feasible
Delete an inbuilt App with one feature - You do not get any options either (e.g. Magnifier)

You are very nice to help. But when I touch on an app on screen it just offers "Edit Home Screen" or "Share App". Many do not have a minus sign for me to delete. Some just offer "Remove App" and when I do it just removes it from the home screen - no option to "delete app". This is driving me crazy.

And it even says "removing app from home screen will keep it in your library". How do I delete from Library?
