Hi,
I just updated an update to Catalina 10.15.7. I just did the regular update that was waiting.
Used Apple Updates - no 3rd part websites.
Safari is no longer working. It continuously is reloading my web pages.
I see that my Safari is now 14.1. I think this is the problem.
I don't know what happened. Any ideas ?
I have a Time Machine backup (recent). I also have a Super Duper backup.

Login. Launch Safari and test.
Log out. Quit Safari,
To leave Safe Mode, click in the menu bar and choose “Restart”

My safari is also having the same issues. Reload loop on most sites I visited. But funny thing is, turning off Javascript in Safari stopped this error. I think it might be a bug with the Javascript. Hopefully a fix could be deployed soon. I am relying on Chrome now, but Chrome drains your battery like crazy.
Thanks for your post. It definitely is a Javascript error. I unchecked option as well. I am using Firefox temporarily. Do you think its worth it to roll back to previous operating from a backup or will you just wait??
Nay. I think lets just wait for Apple to deploy a patch for Safari. Reinstalling OS wastes time, and this isn't an OS related issue, just Safari alone.
Is there still no solution to trouble with Safari?
