iPhone 12 mini VPN keeps trying to reconnect

My vpn button keeps trying to connect...I have never set up vpn. I have major problems connecting to internet or using cellular data. In most cases I can not use my phone outside of my home fir google purposes and Siri constantly says something has gone wrong. This all started after an update when my google icon stop working do I deleted it and started going strictly through safari which is also a nightmare. I am so disgusted can anyone help clear up my issues please?!?!?

It sounds like you are experiencing issues with VPN connections on your iPhone. We understand how important this is to you and we are here to help.

VPN's are usually connected on an iPhone via a VPN profile and/or an app. Let's go to Settings > General > VPN and check to see if any VPN profiles were ever installed. They can be deleted from here as well. If the VPN was set up from an app you may need to delete the app to remove the VPN configuration on your iPhone: Delete apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

If the issue persists can you provide a few more details? What kind of VPN is being connected? When did you first notice this? Also, which iOS version are you currently using?
