Once the battery takes much longer to charge and/or the charge does not last too long, can the battery be changed?
If so, where can these be bought? I have seen some sources on line, but they are all in the UK.
Contact Apple and ask if they repair them. I have never seen anybody mention it but maybe it is a lesser publicized service?

It's a pity then, because the device itself is in perfect condition. And it's not a cheap one either. Could make one consider moving to a third party wired mouse, for not having to deal with non replaceable batteries.
