Hello everyone. This will only help those that have a backup somewhere and know their current vault password.
Download Password Manager
setup vault with same password
create a backup to DropBox (will be blank)
go to DropBox and navigate to
Apps/iPassword+/
you will see here the blank backup you just did.
Find your original backup and replace the blank one with that one.
Open password manager (new one with good trim but same logo)
settings
restore from DropBox (will get success but will be blank first time)
close and repeat the restore again and should now populate
good luck
Got as far as downloading data with the help of imazing and PC , but after transferring data to old phone my iPassword was blank….. no data
Can you pls copy paste the steps, imazing is available in India too. I can’t seem to find the mail . Thanx
This is a brilliant solution for iPhone and iPad users. All my passwords were stored under settings and passwords! Thank you so much for this!
I have been requesting everyone to pls guide me …. A fellow sufferer
It has been laid out step-by-step with numbering in several posts. I would suggest you get a friend or family member who is more technologically skilled and have them read this thread and help you.
This statement is also incorrect because I have done it!
Thank you for helping us!
Respectfully, Syng
Thank you for doing this!
Thank you for your post, it worked exactly as described! I so appreciate your help!
Is there a way to export the data to a file or is it all manual?
No! iPassword is useless with the newer version. iMazing is our only option to transfer the old version data to a iOS that supports the old version.
Can you provide the steps you used with iMazing to transfer your iPassword data
Sorry question was directed to the wrong person
No, Apple shouldn’t refund your money for a 3rd party app. The developer you paid for the app should refund it. And no, Apple cannot take the app and recode it, the app doesn’t belong to them.
I tried this method, but the pop up message that I got was that your data cannot be downloaded from iCloud because this app has a different app id
I have deleted the app and then downloaded it again. Same problem, it says it restores correctly but then won’t accept the password. I have tried this several times with the same result.
