Is there an Excel Split View Equivalent in macOS Numbers?

In Microsoft Excel, you can enable a split view, which is great for navigating large files when using laptop screens. Is there an equivalent feature in Numbers?

Screenshot from Excel below shows the Split enabled (gray dividers show the split between columns F and G vertically as well as between rows 17-18).

Only with regards to header columns and header rows (5 maximum of each), which can be frozen so they won't go off-screen when scrolling. But you cannot split the table at any desired place like in Excel.

I use both Excel and Numbers. Split View can be really helpful in Excel. But I've never thought I needed it in Numbers.

That's because Numbers is designed to allow multiple (typically smaller) tables on a sheet, whereas with Excel you often have a large expanse of cells on a sheet.

If you break your work up "Numbers style" (see the examples in the templates at File > New in your menu) then you are much less likely to miss Split View.
