When i try to do the volume up /down side button update on my 11 pro max all it says is the apple support/iPhone/restore screen! My phone wont turn off or anything its just stuck on the apple logo!! What should i do

On an iPhone 8 or later:

• Press and quickly release VOLUME UP
• Press and quickly release VOLUME DOWN
• Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears

• On an iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus: Press and hold both the Side and Volume Down buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.
• On an iPhone 6s and earlier, iPad, or iPod touch: Press and hold both the Home and the Top (or Side) buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

my iphone cant restart

my iphone screen is not functioning. when I do the volume up and down and press the side button Siri comes up. NOt helpful how do I get my screen to function normally please
