I have bought extra iCloud storage but it only backups 3 of my apps! How do I setup my iCloud so that all of my pictures and App info go there instead of my 3/4’s of empty 10GB extra iCloud space. Am I supposed to use an iCloud email address or usern

I don’t understand why my iPhone storage ( 16GB) is almost completely full when I have paid and purchased 10GB of iCloud storage. Why won’t my photos, contacts, emails, texts, and different Apps that take up a lot of space when not always using. I know my password is accurate, WHAT am I supposed to use as my username in my iCloud Storage account ?

I have an iPhone 6 with 16GB of hard drive... please help? It should be easier to find in the setup!!!

Hi Winifred321,

It seems you're trying to free space on your iPhone and we want to help.

Which iPhone and which version of iOS do you have?

You can check the iOS version in Settings > General > About.

The last versions of iPhone to be offered with 16GB storage were iPhone 6s and iPhone SE.

Identify your iPhone model

Normally, your iPhone storage space isn't augmented by iCloud. There's no way to increase internal storage.

If you have a 50GB storage plan and are running the latest version of iOS, you might be able to use the optimize storage by having Messages and Photos saved to iCloud.
