I accidentaly removed ‘on my ipad’ location for my files app. How can I enable it again?

Tap the ellipsis (…) icon at top-right of the Files Sidebar - then select Edit Sidebar. From here you can enable/disable the individual Locations from the list; tap Done, at top right of the Files Sidebar, when you are finished.
