password reset option not showing in users & groups

Hey,

If you enter the wrong password three times, you will be given security options. Try using them to recover your MacBook Pro's password.

Enter Recovery Mode and reset your Password:

• Shut Down your Mac
• Turn it on and immediately press the Command Key and the R Key at the same time to enter MacOS recovery. Release the keys when you see a progress bar. When you get options for Recovery, select Terminal. In Terminal type resetpassword in the window with no spaces and no caps. Press enter. Close the Terminal window in about 5 seconds, where you will find a Reset window. Follow the on-screen instructions to reset your password.
