Apple Intelligence is now available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac!
Hi. I’ve recently downloaded iOS 14.5 and the app tracking feature in privacy doesn’t seem to do anything. I currently have the toggle switch on to allow apps to request to track, but I’ve had no requests and YouTube is definitely still showing me adverts for things I’ve looked at online.
I was also expecting to see a list of apps which I can toggle on or off in the Tracking screen, but it’s empty.
Can anyone help please?

You need to wait for app developers to enable this feature, most are slow to do it, even Facebook admitted they do that slowly so not all users will see it right away but slowly over some time. Be patient.

Just thought I’d share an update to say the app developers are slowly updating to ask permission to track now as iW00 said they would.
Still nothing from the big offenders like Facebook and YouTube, but they’re slowly starting to trickle through.

So I’ve just done an update of a load of apps and still nothing appears in tracking (Facebook was one of those updates).
I’ll get in touch with Apple support as you suggested.

I upgraded to 14.5.1, and it is still not working...
Likewise.
I updated last night and I’ve still got nothing.
