can't email photos from Lightroom classic

I installed Creative Cloud, LrC and PS on my new M1 Mac Air that replaces my 2017 Mac Air.

All was well until I tried to send photos from within LR.

I used Apple's Mail Support to discover the proper settings for enrtry into Lightroom via the Email Outgoing Mail Server

Account Type

SMTP <--- the protocol; but LR wants the server name and I cannot locate it on Apple's website.

Username

xxxxxxx <-- my Adobe username

Server Port

587

Authentication

Password

SSL/TLS

Yes

Server Hostname <--- no such field in Lightroom Email Outgoing Mail Server

Automatically added for iOS & OS X Mail

Validation fails.

Failed to establish connection with the outgoing email server. Please check the following:

1. Make sure your computer has a working Internet connection.

2. If you have installed an anti-virus program that blocks certain network access, please manually add the Adobe Lightroom executable to the list of trusted programs.

3. If you are on a corporate network, please talk to your network administrator about your network's firewall configuration and how to configure your outgoing email server correctly.

I don't know where to add the LR Executable to the list of trusted programs. *if* MacAfee is to blame.
