Why can’t we record internal media with audio?
Does the VCR technology,(I grew up with over 40 years ago), out perform Apple technology of today?

Why can’t we record internal media with audio?

Something as simple as recording what is on screen with audio should not be an app. It is such a simple thing that it should be built into the operating system. Wy is it not and what is the reason? I would love to know the truth to those two questions.
The iPhone does have a built in screen recorder. I think you misunderstood his response. Depending on the app that you are recording, the developer of that app can prevent audio from being recorded with the screen recorder.
Internal audio is captured by screen recording that is built into the iPhone and iPad, however, certain apps may not have their audio present due to developer choice or for copyright reasons.
