Is an iPhone bought in London compatible with the sim card of a French operator?
I've just broke my iPhone in London and need to buy one within the day.

IF you purchased an unlocked iPhone directly from Apple, yes. It should be fine.
Note that if you purchase it from any retailer other than Apple, such as carphone warehouse, it is NOT unlocked. It can only be activated on a UK carrier and will lock to the first carrier used.
