I am trying to play SongPop party on my Apple TV and I am unable to select an answer no matter what I do I can not scroll through the choices to select the correct answer. Any suggestions or has anyone else have this issue?

This is not a bug, it’s intended behavior, even if it’s counterintuitive and unlike how most other apps and games work.
You don’t choose your answer by selecting it directly on the screen but by swiping on your Apple TV remote’s touch pad in the direction of the answer. If your choice is to the left, you swipe left, if’s it’s the bottom one, you swipe down etc.
This way, if you’re playing local multiplayer, your opponents won’t be able to see your choice, even if they look at the TV screen, until the correct answer is revealed.
Took me a little while to figure out too, but it kind of makes sense. The app should communicate this way of control much more clearly.

Same problem here. Deleted app, updated Apple TV software, then reinstalled app. Worked last nite. Kiddo came back to play it this morning, swipe doesn’t work again. App swipes during title screen but not during game phase. Needs update badly.
Swiping is not working at all. Was working previously the app bugged out, required new sign ins to Game Center, then still didn’t swipe to select song choices.
Same here, swipe does not work in gameplay but works fine in menu navigation. Buggy software

Still no update? It is a pretty annoying bug.
