My profile picture for my apple ID is showing up as my daughter's contact ID photo on my phone.

My daughters Apple ID and my Apple ID seem to be blended. My contact photo is showing up as her contact photo in my iPhone. When I type auto fill her address and name and email are populated in the fields. I’ve signed out of my device, reset everything signed back in with my Apple ID and it still is doing this. I also have two iPads, I am signed in with my Apple ID in all three devices and the two iPads won’t communicate with the phone and I get the message that I need to sign in with the same Apple ID. I teach tech classes and am very tech literate. I removed my daughter from family sharing, didn’t help. My daughter isn’t having these issues on her iPhone. I have the iPhone SE 2020 with the latest operating system. Help please!

Did you check her devices to make sure they were signed in with her Apple ID?

Did you check your Contacts app to make sure your card is marked as your card? Did you check her Contacts app to make sure her card is marked as her card?

Hi there, Mary_Elizabeth! Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.

After reviewing your post, it sounds like you are looking for some help straightening out some possible confusion with your Apple ID and your daughter’s Apple ID. We definitely understand that having all your info mixed up can be a concern and we'd love to help. To get us started, the basic and simplest step is to check every single device that you have signed in with your or her Apple ID. Check all iPhones, all iPads, any Macs or iPods or other devices.

On the handheld devices, go to Settings and tap the name at the top. For your Macs, click the Apple logo, System Preferences, then the words “Apple ID” on the top right of the screen. Make sure your ID is where it should be and hers is as well. If you find any mixups, sign out of the ID and sign in with the correct one.

Please let us know if you have follow-up questions about this issue, or if the issue remains unresolved. Have a great day!

It was a contact card issue. My daughters contact card was actually tagged as me on my iPad mini. I fix that in the iPad mini and it is doing what it is it is supposed to. My iPad didn’t even have me in the list of contacts and it has no one listed as me. I reset and erased all content on it, connected to Wi-Fi again, signed in with my Apple ID and it is still weird.
