Siri does not read German text anymore since 14.5.
Worked before upgrading. No settings changed. Siri reads English fine but German text not anymore. Context menu shows ‚Paus‘ after hitting ‚Start‘. Siri thinks she is reading but I can‘t hear anything. As said works fine with English text.
I‘ve restarted and checked accessibility features. Settings are all fine.
If I ask Siri stuff she answers.
I tried some of the stuff and changed Siri’s voice from voice 2 to voice 1 (male). This triggered voice download of voice 1. Also I deleted Siri’s recent history.
Now Siri’s reads German text. So far so good. The fun is that she reads in with voice 2 (female) although voice 1 (male) is selected.

We're glad Siri is translating the text in German after downloading the additional voice. However, it's still not working as it should. We'd suggest contacting Apple Support to see if they can help get this working as it should: Apple - Support
