I have a MAC OS xEl Capitan version 10.11.6. My Safari is not working properly and I tried to update it, but no updates. This is my first MAC, so my question is this, can update it to the Catalina Version??

I have a MAC OS xEl Capitan vers. 10.11.6. I cannot update my Safari any longer. With the MAC's, can you update the system to the Catalina version?? The MAC is so much different than the Windows system.

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and if your Mac is a 2012 or newer model(2013 for desktop Mac Pros), click on Catalina. Otherwise, no.
