My Apple ID is locked

So, I have my iPhone bought from a friend who used to have it and when I took it we didn’t do a complete restart at the phone. Now he has another iPhone. My problem is that when I want to update an app it requires my Apple ID which I type correctly and then it says that this Apple ID is locked..and then it requires authorization from the phone number that my friend has!! What shall I do to unlock my Apple ID? (I have tried unlocking it from iforgot but I do remember my password!!)

If you forgot the Apple ID password, enter the Apple (iCloud) ID, and click Forgot Password. See if you can get a Rescue or Notification  email option if necessary.
