An iPhone 6+ cannot update beyond iOS 12.5.2. You need at least an iPhone 6s to update to newer versions.

An iPhone 6 cannot go past iOS 12.5.2, the hardware is too old.

If you need a newer OS to run current apps, you will need to buy a newer model phone.

B. View Incompatibility:

See if your iPhone model can be updated to iOS13 and iOS14.. If updating is not an option, then it is because you iPhone does not meet the hardware requirements for this iOS versions.
