Some times in safari i get the security thread msg .. do i need to download some anti virus app for my iphone ..?

Absolutely not. These messages are fake and scam. iPhone cannot get virus unless it is Jailbroken. These messages are just text on a shady website that tries to entice you to download an app that you will most likely have to pay for.
So, no virus and no worries. But try to avoid visiting the web page that is trying to entice you to download an Antivirus.
