Cannot print documents with color pictures using MacBook Pro os 11.3. NOT a printer or router problem.

To start, what happens when you try to print a document with colored photos? Are you printing directly from your Mac by choosing File > Print with the document open, or are you using a third-party app (like from the printer manufacturer) to attempt to print these documents?

my setting is not set to black and white. I have removed and reinstalled the hp software and drivers. I have reset printer settings. The colors are in the paper but the pictures are either not printing completely or are all messed up in little squares. The same documents print perfectly to the same printer using my iPhone x

Whoever was chatting with me disappeared when they said they were going to get a Mac expert. No the answer was not helpful!!
