Syncing my MacBook and iPad Messages with my phone

Hello,

My iphone/macbook and iPad would all send and receive facetime calls and messages just fine. I just got a new phone and it all stop and now my iPad and Mac will send messages from my email and not my number. I've followed the instructions on how to set it up for the iPad/MacBook and selecting the number versus the email. However, that option does not show up for me even though my number is listed in my Appple ID section but it doesn't show available on my devices to select my number only my email address. I don't know what else to do. please help !

See if anything here helps.

Messages or FaceTime - Add or remove your phone number

You need to change/add the number on your Apple ID. After the change, allow up to 24 hours for the change to sync. Before trying to make the change, sign out of Messages/FaceTime on all devices/computers.
